Megan Ahn began her Executive Search career in 1993 with Paces Personnel in Atlanta, Georgia. While employed at Paces Personnel she gained experience recruiting for various industries including accounting, legal, real estate, sales, publishing, advertising, insurance and positions ranging from administrative to senior management.
In August 2002, Megan opened Accountants Direct to permanently place accounting and finance professionals with public and privately held companies in San Diego. Prior to opening Accountants Direct Megan worked for several years in San Diego recruiting for Judy Thompson & Associates as a Financial Executive Search Associate.
Since arriving to San Diego in 1998, Megan has worked diligently to learn about the San Diego marketplace, top industries and the history of the San Diego business community. Megan is a member of the California CPA Society, Corporate Directors Forum, and the Corporate Finance Council. In addition, she volunteers on the Membership Board for the local chapter of Corporate Directors Forum and is the Sponsor Chair for the San Diego Chapter of the Cal-CPA Society.
Megan is a member and has been certified through the National Association of Personnel Services since 1996. The National Association of Personnel Services has been the staffing industry educator since 1961 and enjoys its reputation as the oldest industry association. NAPS continues to maintain its stature through their certification programs, continuing education initiatives and annual conferences.

Denis Trafecanty joined Accountants Direct as a Principal in July 2008. Prior to Accountants Direct, Mr. Trafecanty was the Managing Partner for the San Diego practice of Tatum, LLC for eight years.
Mr. Trafecanty has over thirty years of business and financial experience including over twenty three years as the Chief Financial Officer for a broad range of companies, both public and private, with annual revenues ranging from $2 million to $460 million. Mr. Trafecanty has also completed over ten years of experience with Arthur Andersen. His areas of expertise include high technology and other manufacturing, electronics distribution, health care, entertainment and service-related industries and, most recently, a start-up internet health care products company. Specific areas of expertise include a significant amount of international experience (rapid-growth start-up European operation and two Far Eastern divestitures), several major financial restructurings, rapid growth start-ups in the USA, SEC experience including SEC investigations, public offerings, public and private equity and debt financings, bankruptcies, acquisitions and mergers.
Mr. Trafecanty was previously licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for the State of California. He graduated from Loyola/Marymount University (formerly Loyola University) in Los Angeles, California with a BA degree in Accounting. He is also the Co Founder of the Protect our Communities Fund at the San Diego Foundation.
Mr. Trafecanty has been a marathoner for the last 25 years and an ultra marathoner for the last 18 years. He has successfully completed over twelve 100 mile runs and over 115 organized runs of 26.2 miles or longer. For over eight years, Mr. Trafecanty served as the General Manager and Distance Coach for the Northridge Pacers Track Club, a Los Angeles-based Youth Track & Field and Cross Country team with over 250 members. In addition, he was the Head Coach for the Valley Striders, a youth team for Track & Field and Cross Country that participated in the Junior Olympics for the Amateur Athletic Union as well as USA Track & Field.
